Merrick was a truly lovely, caring man who always made time for family and friends. He was a Derby County man through and through, as are my own family, sparking many lively debates. He was passionate in his beliefs, and I miss his banter every day. Music was a huge part of his life, his friendly chit chat on local radio was a comfort to many. Missing you my friend, may you rest in peace. Til we meet again, we will have a lot to catch up on... Fondest memories, from Rita and family
